I know my Heart to be
Love’s Lighthouse to Your Soul
my little boat can harbor
thus guided by Your Call
Home
Yes, I must confess again: I like to float in,
float on water, a surface somewhere in
between a mountain high and river deep,
this floating then becoming ship at the horizon,
I drink deep, the more the getting there
the less I see, the more consumed the more
your Light is piercing, one single Moon beam
in the darkest night, a golden touch to warm up
icy water, O Yes, I must confess again I like to float
in, float on water somewhere in between,
a yesterday embracing time, a you, a me, and I
Wedding Dance
As to my eyes are the bending lines
of Her soft skin so is Her dance along
the mountain curve on a sweet summer
breeze under the guidance of His presence:
leaf by leaf and ray by ray this Queen
is walking to my heart, touching with
Her veils, I hardly can believe Her call,
and I invite Her in, humbly accepting
the gift of Her warm breath
O no, there is no death when there is
parting only the reassuring promise
of Her leave to have Her and to hold
this welcome as a gentle bride
written on a tango summer course in Albi, La Fraysinette France
Key
Calling
I hear a calling
and instantly
my mind
is like a river
fed with clouds
hastening to the sea
and
O my heart
is beating fast and
through my veins
the water flows
when suddenly
a faint,
yet gentle drum
is playing
a familiar melody
so it’s upstream
I turn my little boat
to finally come home
and recognize
the paradise
I was born into
