A day at the beach, 1957

Me, my father and my sister at Koksijde Beach (Belgium) in the summer of 1957 filmed by my mother. The 8mm camera (a Kodak Reliant handcam) was a gift from her brother (my godfather) at my birth.
Not so much has changed in the way children enjoy this beach playing and getting amazed on what is to be found in the shallows of the breakwater. 😎😍
Music and vocals by Bert Evens (see: “Shantum. Peace through Food & Mucic“, lyrics from my poem “Reconnected“.
