Nu

Geen einde noch begin
bestaat er in dit tijdloos nu
en almaar word ik hier
opnieuw geboren
Omkijkend zie ik hoe
de toekomst zich voor mij
ontplooit en vooruit
openbaart ’t verleden mij
al haar geheimen
Zo kan ik rusten
in dit  ogenblik
zoals de wind
zonder verlangen
onzichtbaar
langs mijn wangen
dit moment vervult
onzichtbaar maar
aanwezig

Homeland

Meltdown

What happens when the snow has melted?
The undercovered now returns to light,
my eyes have to adjust and for a moment now
it seems as if the world becomes a darker place,
it is returning to the homeland without feeling
home, as if it were another one who has now
occupied the ground, the landlord long forgotten
and his name not welcome anymore, though
everything is still in place, there is an uninhabited
emptiness not leaving any room for memories,
it feels as an awakening to new beginnings,
the only company old tools to start reboot.
What happens when the snow has melted?
Tell me the truth, uncover then discover how
everything what at first sight lay hidden, now
is adjusted and waiting for your memory
to get stored, so focus right, become new light,
be the blueprint that the snow has melted.

Love is in the air

A poem read on the way to Santiago de Compostella in the company of two love birds :-)

Quelques mots d’amour

Home

Yes, I must confess again: I like to float in,
float on water, a surface somewhere in
between a mountain high and river deep,
this floating then becoming ship at the horizon,
I drink deep, the more the getting there
the less I see, the more consumed the more
your Light is piercing, one single Moon beam
in the darkest night, a golden touch to warm up
icy water, O Yes, I must confess again I like to float
in, float on  water somewhere in between,
a yesterday embracing time, a you, a me, and I
